  • Controller

    Isomeric Industries Inc., headquartered in Big Spring, Texas, provides innovative chemical solutions and logistical support for the oil and gas, mining, and materials preservation industries. Our services include on-site application expertise, R&D, chemical monitoring, and fully customized programs tailored to client needs.

    Position Overview 
    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and the President, this individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, costing, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. As a key member of our leadership team, the Controller will translate financial data into strategic insights that support business growth and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and presentations to leadership and stakeholders.

    • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard corporate assets.

    • Evaluate capital projects, mergers/acquisitions, and other strategic opportunities.

    • Guide ERP system policies and ensure accurate financial data handling.

    • Support ERP implementation and ongoing system improvements.

    • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and all federal, state, and local tax regulations.

    • Collaborate with departments and external financial partners.

    • Oversee budgeting processes and track capital expenditures.

    • Lead and mentor the accounting team.
       

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or similar designation preferred).

    • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with supervisory experience.

    • Experience in mid to high-tier ERP systems; ERP implementation a plus.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounting environments.

    • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

    • Experience in multi-divisional or multi-entity organizations preferred.
       

    Working Conditions

    • Full-time, onsite role based in Big Spring, Texas.

    • Occasional travel may be required.

    • ​Regular interaction with senior leadership, HR, divisional managers, customers, vendors, and financial institutions.
